ICA values the community partners, supporters, and sponsorships. The efforts from community members in addition to collaboration with business, community development, and other non profits assist with achieving the goals set for our community.
The Idlewylde Community is located in Baltimore County, Maryland in the 21239 and 21212 zip codes. Idlewylde has been home to several generations of families for over 60 years. Residents are drawn to the area by the affordability of homes, excellent schools, convenient shopping, a neighborhood park and safe streets.
Launched in 1969 and established the following year as an umbrella organization for the 20+ neighborhoods of north/northeast Baltimore, NECO is organized under the laws of the State of Maryland as a non-profit, non-stock 501-c-3 corporation. NECO comprises the area of Baltimore City bounded on the north by the City/County line, the south by 33rd Street, the east by Hillen Road & Perring Parkway, and the west by Greenmount Avenue & York Road.
Our mission is to share with all peoples the empowering message of the Gospel. The Church is a proud partner, continuing to serve the community through spiritual well-being and community development. No matter who you are, what you look like, what you may be going through or where you come from. You are a child of God.
Located just outside of Idlewood, Sherwood Carryout Restaurant is a valued supporter of ICA. The restaurant serves surrounding areas and provides delivery and catering services for any type of event. The friendly locally owned business offers a wide selection of quality food options from pizza to Greek and Italian cuisine.
We, the community of Mercy High School Baltimore, are a private Catholic, college preparatory school for young women of diverse backgrounds from across central Maryland. Sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy, we provide a rigorous education marked by academic excellence and personal attention.
