Idlewood Community Association
The Idlewood Community Association (ICA) is an approved 501(c)3 organization focused on preserving and enhancing the Idlewood living experience. Our organization focuses on concerns of the neighborhood affecting security, sanitation, public resources, private business, zoning, infrastructure, and property values. ICA is committed to a higher quality of living and advocates in the best manner to ensure each resident experiences the comfort, safety, beauty, and value of Idlewood.
ICA’s objectives are to…
Promote a safe and peaceful environment
Preserve and enhance property value and common space
Engage and empower community involvement
Create neighborhood traditions and increase community pride and value
ICA Membership
Membership is important to the operation of ICA, as it is the primary source of financing for the community association. Membership contributions help maintain Idlewood common spaces, perform administrative processes, print ICA publications, sponsor community events, and improve infrastructure. In addition to membership contributions, ICA accepts tax deductible donations from residents, local businesses, community programs, and philanthropy. ICA also seeks funding opportunities through government grants and programs to extend the organization's efforts. All proceeds are applied to operations of ICA and are not subject to compensation in any form or rewarded to any ICA board member.
Membership contributions of $10.00 are collected on an annual basis. Please make membership contributions or donations payable to:

Improvements and Infrastructure Committee

Public Relations Committee
Welcome to Idlewood
Established in 1953, Idlewood is a community of Baltimore, Maryland located in the northeastern region of the city. Bordering the Baltimore City/County land lines, the community is conveniently nestled between Chinquapin Run Park and Mt. Pleasant Woods Park. It is a vibrant tree lined community that features generous sized traditional brick row homes of various configurations surrounded by locally owned businesses, churches, schools, and resourceful shopping centers. The culture is a quiet, respectable, and prosperous group of residents that express great enthusiasm for this unique community.
